Roya Rad

Meet Dr. Roya Rad

Dr. Roya Rad graduated from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry. She is passionate about treating every patient like family. She strives to create a supportive and comfortable experience built on trust and compassion, while helping patients understand the vital connection between oral health and overall wellbeing.

Before pursuing dentistry, Dr. Rad earned her Master’s degree in biomedical engineering and worked as an R&D engineer for several years. Her desire to connect directly with people and make a difference in their health inspired her transition into dentistry. With this unique background, she enjoys exploring advances in dental technology and bridging the gap between engineering and patient care.

Originally from Iran, Dr. Rad is fluent in Farsi and values building meaningful connections with patients from diverse backgrounds. Outside of the office, her greatest joy is spending time with her husband and daughter. She also enjoys cooking, practicing yoga, playing piano, and continuing to learn and grow both personally and professionally.
